JOB DETAILS:
Role Overview
The Foreman will supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance and repair teams to ensure the smooth functioning of mining equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead a team of technicians in maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment.
• Assign tasks and monitor team performance to meet maintenance goals.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards during all maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues in equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
• Train and mentor junior staff in equipment repair and maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize equipment downtime.

Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 certificate.
• Advanced Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repair.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
• Valid Silicosis certificate.
• Fully paid-up member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
• Strong technical skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
