Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cosmetology Instructor to join our dynamic training team. As a Cosmetology Instructor, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of beauty professionals by delivering high-quality, engaging, and hands-on training. You will report directly to the principal and work collaboratively with the training coordinator and a team of educators to uphold our organization’s commitment to excellence in cosmetology education.

Key Responsibilities:
• Instructional Delivery: Teach a comprehensive cosmetology curriculum, including hair styling, colouring, skin care, makeup application, and nail technology, using a mix of theoretical instruction and practical demonstrations.
• Student Development: Assess student skills, provide constructive feedback, and support their progress towards achieving industry standards.
• Curriculum Implementation: Follow the established curriculum and training guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Classroom Management: Foster a professional and positive learning environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
• Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in the cosmetology field to ensure students receive current and relevant training.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and progress reports. Prepare instructional materials and lesson plans as required.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Training Coordinator and other instructors to continually enhance the training program and meet organizational goals.
• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols in all training sessions.

Qualifications:
• Education: Diploma in Cosmetology or related field.
• Licensure: Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in cosmetology, with prior teaching or training experience preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of cosmetology techniques and tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor diverse groups of students.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining records.
