JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: Driver/Crane Operator
Job Purpose: To be responsible for the transportation/collection and dispatching of company goods/products and documents to designated locations and to be responsible for moving heavy objects (transformers) at the workshop and/or site projects without damaging or hitting surrounding structures or people using the crane r
Scope: To provide reliable and safe driving of members of staff and company goods/products .

Key responsibilities:
• Ensure that all company vehicles and equipment are fully licensed and in relation with road tax and road fitness and are in roadworthy condition
• Operate company vehicles in a sober, safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, damage to property or loss of life
• Operate all company vehicles and equipment in a sober, safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures in relation with RTSA regulations
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Clean the company vehicles as scheduled and/or as required
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are safely and securely parked
• Advise the Supervisor of any requirements for service, maintenance or repairs required on vehicles and equipment
• Deliver goods, products and documents as per given schedule
• Examine the crane before operating and verify the capacity of the object before lifting and ensure that the ropes are strong
• Ensure that the crane is cleaned and lubricated regularly and properly maintained
• Advise the Supervisor of any service, maintenance or repairs required on crane
