JOB DETAILS:
Job Description:
• As the M&E Senior Consultant / Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading Agova’s technical approach to the refinement and delivery of research and measurement projects. This role involves designing and developing methodologies, data tools, and reporting approaches. You will also be responsible for developing standard operating procedures and relevant tools/templates. Additionally, you will provide technical assistance to the consulting team during client projects under this service offering, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Service Design and Refinement:
• Lead the design and development of new research projects, determining methodologies, data tools, and reporting approaches.
Develop standard operating procedures and relevant tools/templates for efficient and consistent service delivery.
Technical Assistance and Project Oversight:
• Provide technical assistance on related projects, providing guidance and oversight to the consulting team and consulting on client projects where appropriate
Offer guidance on the theory of change design, measurement frameworks, review methodological approaches, analyses, and key reporting deliverables.
Conduct rigorous quality controls and review key deliverables, ensuring that all projects are fully compliant and following strict procedures
Measurement Framework:
• Lead the development and implementation of Agova’s measurement framework to understand the impact across all service offerings.
Analyse and interpret data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Statistics, or related field.
At least 10 years of experience in designing and leading M&E frameworks and technical aspects.
Proven expertise in developing methodologies, data tools, and reporting approaches.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with best practices in measurement and evaluation in the context of social impact consulting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Interest in “Shared Value” (businesses solving social/environmental challenges by reshaping their business strategy).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Has leadership experience and demonstrated ability to take initiative.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to design and implement work plans, within set timelines.
Ability to travel within Zambia (when required).
