Hours: Monday to Friday plus alternate Saturday mornings .

Job Summary
1. Essential Skills:
• Actively support the Alistair Logistics Health, Safety, Environment and Quality vision and values by observing safety practices at work while performing his/her duties
• Preparing and maintaining records and reports of inventories, shortages, shipments, and goods used or issued.
• Determining proper storage methods based on physical capabilities of the warehouse.
• Observing and adhering to safety policies, reporting unsafe acts, hazards, and maintaining a clean and orderly department.
• Ensuring a productive labour climate in the warehouse operation; in case of irregularities immediately report to the management.
• Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
• Timely and efficiently processing and filling parts requisition forms presented by in-house service techs, entering parts information on customer work orders associated with the parts requisition through the SAP ERP system.
• Entering parts received into inventory using the SAP ERP computer system and continually monitoring inventory stock for re-order, etc.
• Generating labeling for merchandise and shelve inventory in proper place in stock room.
• Receiving, storing, and issuing spare and replacement parts, equipment, and expendable items used in repair or maintenance shop and verifying against purchase orders for accuracy.

• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential

• Experience in general warehousing procedures
• Excellent interpersonal relations
• Good verbal, written and listening communications skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to achieve excellent results working autonomously and/or in a team environment
• Excellent organisational skills
• Possess a “can-do“ attitude with a keen focus on what “can” be done, not what “cannot” be done
• Possess a desire to continually develop, improve and be ambitious
• Be physically fit and able to use the correct lifting technique
