JOB DETAILS:
Aeiforia Tech Hub Enterprise is a disruptive startup focused on transforming industries through AI, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, and Web/App Development.
As we expand our digital footprint, compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining the integrity of our technological practices is paramount. We are seeking a Tech Compliance Lead who will ensure our operations are legally sound, secure, and aligned with both local and international regulations.
This is a role for someone with a deep understanding of tech regulations, compliance frameworks, and a passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Zambian and international tech-related laws, including data protection, cybersecurity standards, and blockchain regulations.
Technology Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks in the development and deployment of new technologies.
Policy Development: Create and implement internal policies related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and other relevant tech compliance regulations.
Audit and Monitoring: Conduct audits to monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulatory guidelines, and best practices, providing recommendations for improvements.
Institutional Compliance: Ensure the company is registered with and meets the compliance requirements of relevant institutions, including ZRA, NAPSA, ICT regulatory bodies, and other international bodies for tech and cybersecurity compliance.
Training and Awareness: Lead regular training sessions for staff on tech compliance, data security, and other regulatory requirements, ensuring everyone is informed and up-to-date.
Reporting: Develop reports and presentations for senior leadership regarding compliance status and emerging tech regulatory developments.
Stay Current: Keep up with new tech regulations, cybersecurity updates, and data protection laws to ensure Aeiforia Tech remains compliant as technology evolves.

Key Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a tech compliance, legal, or cybersecurity role, preferably within the tech industry or a startup environment.
Education: Degree or diploma in Law, Compliance, Information Security, or a related field. Certifications in tech compliance, data protection, or cybersecurity (such as CIPP/E, CISSP, or CISA) are preferred but not required.
Knowledge of Regulatory Frameworks: Familiarity with Zambian tech regulations, GDPR, ISO 27001, data protection laws, and other international tech standards.
Registration: Must be registered with relevant institutions, including ZRA, NAPSA, and any other necessary regulatory bodies in Zambia.
Tech-Savvy: Strong understanding of technology platforms, cybersecurity practices, and blockchain technology.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to identify potential compliance risks and quickly develop practical, actionable solutions.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment with the potential for growth.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex compliance issues to non-technical stakeholders and ensure company-wide adherence to regulatory policies.
