JOB DETAILS:
Overall Responsibility
• We are looking for a Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing and delivering items. In addition, they are responsible for securing warehouse as well as supervising staff.

Main Accountabilities:
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Contribute to the Supply Chain budget by assessing Warehouse requirements.
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Proven ability in encouraging and motivate staff in bringing new ideas to improve functionality
• Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
• Implementing operational policies and procedures.
• Implementing and overseeing security operations.
• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment

Required Skills and Competencies:
• Minimum of a Diploma in CIPS, Supply Chain related field or Supply Chain Management discipline
• Member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply
• A minimum of Five (5) years’ work experience in similar position
• Ability to liaise with all departments, Contractors, Suppliers
• Good communication skills, Self-Drive and Good interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrable Leadership and management skills.
• Result orientated and should be a good planner
• Ability to build strong relationships, motivate the team and possess strong ethical values in line with the organizations vision and values.
