KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• The incumbent will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.
• Perform a variety of tasks that require little skill
• Assist the Operators to manage a set of machines on site.
• Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas, using moving equipment and hand tools.
• Safely perform medium work by occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing and/ or pulling.
• Maintains housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Shovel spillages clear of moving equipment in the work area.
• Cleans, adjusts and maintains equipment, using hand tools.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor

• Minimum of a Grade Twelve (Grade 12) Certificate
REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to communicate in English
• Standby work required
• Overtime when necessary
• Exposure to dust, heat and noise

• An understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures
