Were hiring for Junior Accountant role.

Your Challenge:
• Processing of supplier invoices: receiving and ensuring appropriate approvals are in place before processing in the system.
• Supplier invoices payment, preparing payment vouchers for disbursements, including imports suppliers.
• Posting disbursements in the system.
• Receiving TER from staff, verification of physical receipts, ensuring within the recommended period with appropriate approvals.
• Entering the approved TER in the system.
• Managing petty cash and processing vouchers in the system.
• Reconciliations of the accounts in Blackline.
• Tax Management- VAT; Corporate and Withholding tax
• Ensuring statutory payroll deductions are paid on time
• Timely processing of month end journal entries to facilitate preparation of monthly management accounts
• Maintaining records and ensuring proper records filling and records management in line with company policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Professional qualification an added advantage.
• Fully qualified accountant
• Two years working experience
• Tax knowledge
• Financial reporting knowledge of IFRS/USGAAP
• Ability to go an extra mile
• Team player
