SALES ASSOCIATE – HOME AND OFFICE FURNITURE
Retail/Wholesale – Interior Design, Lusaka, Zambia
A well established discount chain store is looking to recruit a responsible and highly motivated Sales Associate who is ready to take on all sales responsibilities from generating leads to closing sales. The ideal candidate will deliver a professional presentation to customers, and uphold the ideals and standards of the company. The successful Sales Associate will constantly strive to meet all sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
JOB SPECIFICATION

Reporting To: Sales & Marketing Manager
Supervision Of: Self
Interacts With: Customers,Team
JOB DESCRIPTION
Identify, manage and secure existing and new account and continue to maintain a high level of sales achievement
Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
Work with customers to determine their needs and then recommend the right product to solve the customers problem
Developing marketing channels, preparing marketing proposals
Develop and cultivate strong buying relationships with customers
Prepares quotations and follow up on orders
Provide After-Sales Support by following-up on orders to ensure satisfactory completion of the company’s contract terms (requirements,delivery, payment schedule, etc.)
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
• Experience: 4 years
• Education Level: Degree
• Qualifications: Bachelors in Marketing or any related field
• Software: Microsoft Office
• Equipment: Job related
• Knowledge Of: Retail/Wholesale of office and Home furniture
• Skills To: Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
• Ability To: Work in a showroom and in the field (when necessary)
• Personality: Target driven and outgoing
Other: Experience selling Office and Home furniture preferred
