JOB DETAILS:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE;
1. Monitor, forecast and coordinate the scheduling of maintenance requirements on aircraft.
2. Provides 7-day, 30-day, 60-day, and annual maintenance forecasts to the Manager of Planning and applicable management personnel as required.
3. Ensure quick response time and delivery for any modified planning requirements due to additional work scope, engineering changes and/or miscalculated or shop and planning errors.
4. Effectively and efficiently, utilizing company computer systems to identify maintenance aircraft requirements and assigned/capable overnight stations ensuring the timely compliance.
5. Monitor aircraft status and coordinate routing/rerouting aircraft to facilitate any operational irregularities while maintaining the integrity of the maintenance plan and established company performance objectives.
6. Coordinate and communicate all “day of” operational changes affecting the maintenance plan, resolve conflicts between the maintenance and the daily operational schedules.
7. Create, review, and execute daily work orders to the required maintenance bases.
8. Provides daily turnover communication to fellow team members of critical tasks and items of importance affecting the operation.
9. Ensures compliance with all specified policies, practices, and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE;
1. Certificate in Maintenance Planning Principles.
2. Good Knowledge of Zambia Civil Aviation Regulations.
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Airline operations.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS;
Demonstrate Competence with the following:
1. Microsoft Excel.
2. AMP data platform and the following Publications:
3. Aircraft Maintenance Publication Packages
4. Minimum Equipment List Documents (MEL, MMEL, MELP)
5. Published Airworthiness Directives applicable for incorporation.
6. MPM, MCM and all appropriate Company Manuals.
7. ZCAA ZCARS and Implementing Standards for Planning and Librarian functions.
8. Must have good communication skills to liaise with other Team Members.
9. Must be Computer literate.
