JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of Role:
The Zambia Postal Service Sales Representatives will be responsible for generating leads and providing appropriate solutions for customers to boost customer acquisition levels, analyzing market potential and tracking sales apart from working towards profitability goals.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
1. Search and ascertain prospective clients and leads.
2. Understand and learn about products or services
3. Maintain positive relationship with prospective customers.
4. Provide solutions to align with pain points if the various customers.
5. Cold call in order to reach out to customers.
6. Achieve sales targets.
7. Maintain client database and records.
8. Consult various teams including sales and marketing to prepare monthly and weekly reports.
9. Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing/products/trends in the market.
10. Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions via team effort.
11. Keep up to date with the best practices and trends in the industry.
12. Coordinate sales efforts with marketing and company programs.
13. Preparing and giving sales presentations to prospective clients.
14. Negotiating contracts with clients.
15. Manage month-end closing processes.
16. Build strong customer relationships to ensure they are satisfied and long lasting customers.
17. Receive feedback and work on it to resolve issues.
18. Assist with determining schedule for pricing, quotes and promotions.
19. Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualification/Requirements
• Full Grade Twelve (12) certificate.
• A Marketing or Sales qualification will be an added advantage.
• 1-2 years of sales experience will be an added advantage.
• Candidates aged 21 to 35 are encouraged to apply.
