JOB DETAILS:
EuroZambezi Investment Limited bus passenger service located in Lusaka, Zambia invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who are innovative, energetic and performance-driven to fill the following positions of PSV drivers x 2 positions on commission based payment (15% of net income per trip) and OTE (over the target earning) performance bonus.

Summary of Duties:
• Conversant with the operations mechanism of light passenger mini buses; and ensuring that they are in road worthy condition, perfect state of cleanliness – interiorly and externally, insured and with valid road tax, etc., before they are used; and driven on trips.
• Has experience in mechanics to repair different types of vehicles when need arises away and at work place.
• Strictly observes all Road Signage and Traffic Rules and laws at all times
• Performs routine checks of oil, fuel, battery, and clutch fluid and water levels in the radiator of
all company vehicles before embarking on a trip and be able to advise users accordingly.
• Reports any mechanical/electrical fault/maintenance requirements to the supervisor for timely
rectification of the fault(s)
• Reports any instance of mishap or accident to the supervisor for timely action
• Ensures that the motor vehicle tools and accessories are (e.g. spare wheel, Jack, spanners,
triangles, fire extinguishers, first aid box etc.) are in place and in good working condition, at
the beginning and end of each trip.
• Ensures that the assigned vehicle is serviced within schedule by reporting to the supervisor on
time.
• Ensures that passengers take safety precautions, such as wearing of safety belts, before any
journey begins.
• Ensures that every journey and fuelling/refuelling are recorded in the Motor Vehicle Log Book and signed off.
• Ensures security of the vehicle at all times and that the vehicle is parked only in a secured place when not in use
• Conducts a weekly checklist of vehicle condition and submits to supervisor for review.

Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience
• Full grade twelve certificate Education
• Mature applicants of more than 35 years’ old
• 10 years’ experience with a safe driving record.
• Good knowledge of English language
• PSV driver’s license (scanned colour) and RTSA clearance certificate
• Release letter from the previous employer
• Resent finger print police report (criminal record clearance)
• Holder of a National Registration Card (NRC)
• Candidates with experience bus drivers will be given priority.
