JOB DETAILS:
• General Summary
• This is a technical position that will be responsible coordinating the ZNYP+ Project Activities at district level so that they can be more effectively and efficiently contribute to the overall project activity implementation. S/he will be responsible for managing field & Client Service Associate in their respective district.

Key Rensponsibilities
• Support district chapters develop operational, annual work plans and other plans in line with the Project strategic plan
• Develop and implement Advocacy, Social Mobilization and Communication and Risk Communication and Community Engagement evidence-based strategies and engagement with communities to implement SBC activities that address social and cultural barriers to use of health services and adoption of healthy behaviors.
• Identify and implement innovative and low-cost SBC / RCCE models and solutions that aim to increase personal agency and improve care-seeking behaviors, including innovation and implementation of effective social listening mechanisms at community level.
• Participate in review, pretesting and dissemination of integrated IEC materials and tools tailored for various target populations.
• Assessment of targeted audiences and communication platforms and networks at provincial and community levels and engagement of gate with Adolescents/youth groups, and women’s groups.
• Collaborate with the PHO and conduct capacity building of different community teams at provincial, district, facility, and community levels to improve client-provider interactions at the point of service delivery through high-quality training, mentoring, and technical assistance.
• Collaborate with clinical teams in target facilities to ensure that differentiated models of health services delivery of HIV, TB/HIV, MNCH and FP services at community level are implemented timely and cost effectively.
• Mainstream gender in all target health services and activities.
• Work with PHO/DHO teams to plan, implement and monitor the execution of VMMC and other health promotion campaigns and ensure that HIV, TB/HIV, MNCH and FP services are integrated.
• Conduct regular review and planning meetings and facilitate evidence-based micro-planning and quality improvement plans at district and community levels, working closely with the PHO/DHO teams and other key stakeholders.
• Documentation of best practices, lessons learnt and human interest / success stories including project activity reports.
• Participate in technical working groups addressing SBC issues linked to the project at relevant provincial and district fora.
• Provide day to day supportive supervision and mentorship to the Community and Clinical Services Integration Coordinators and other district teams if relevant.
• Coordinate the roll-out and effective use of MOH and project-approved social behavioral change and social mobilization products and interventions;
• Establish networks and strategic partnerships with MOH as well as other stakeholders to enable sustainable implementation of community-led social behavioral change and social mobilization activities;
• Effectively and efficiently engage chiefdom, religious, community leaders and other influencers’ to increase demand
• Implement and adhere to ZNYP+ personnel, financial, operations and fraud management policies.

Minimum Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, adult education, development studies or diploma in clinical medicine or public health nursing.
• At least four (5) years experience in the area of community mobilization and SBC for HIV/AIDS, MNCH and RH/FP services and products.
• Knowledge Of Zambia’s SBC/community health structures and programming, as well as socio-cultural environment influencing drivers and barriers to service uptake and care seeking.
• Problem solving and consensus building. Professional written and oral communications skills in English and ability to communicate in a local language of the given province.
• Ability to Work in complex environments, and work with and between different stakeholders. Develop and maintain strong relationships with government and civil society stakeholders.
• Other Requirements: Experience in the health sector with emphasis on leading SBC strategies and implementation for HIV, TB/HIV, MNCH, and/or FPs.
