JOB DETAILS:
The Food Reserve Agency (FRA) is a statutory institution established under the Food Reserve Act No. 6 of 2020 with a mandate to manage National Strategic Food Reserves. The institution is looking for individuals with appropriate academic and professional qualifications and experience on contract basis, to fill four vacant above position. The applicants are expected to be highly motivated, result oriented and of high personal integrity.

Main Job Purpose:
Southern and Northwestern Choma and Solwezi
The jobholder as Head of Agency operations in the region will be required to manage and coordinate all marketing activities and any other Agency related activities. He/she will also be required to implement the strategic Food Reserve and Marketing system and assist in the collection of data on food stock at provincial level.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent;
• Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural economics/Marketing;
• Minimum of five (5) years working experience;
• Knowledge of data collection using Open Data Kit will be an added advantage;
• Proficiency in any data analysis and presentation software such as SPSS, STATA or power BI; and a
• Valid Driving License.

Competencies:
• Excellent leader who is able to organize and manage multiple priorities, ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
• In-depth knowledge of the Agriculture sector and food security;
• Proven ability to solve problems and conflict management skills;
• Team working skills and ability to work with different work teams, clients and groups of staff across the Agency;
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills; and Personal effectiveness and results oriented.
