JOB DETAILS:

Duties and Responsibilities
• To plan daily and weekly transport capacity requirements
• Create long term business relationships with local and foreign transporters
• Source quality transport capacity for all freight corridors as required by the company's customers
• Ensure all the necessary requirements are met by all the booked transporters
• Send daily tracking reports to customers
• Monitor the performance of each transporter engaged by the company
• Manage end to end freight project activities
• Advise customers regarding all the required documentation for effective delivery.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
• Diploma in Business Administration or Transport and Logistics or relevant Qualification Five years experience Understanding of required movement documentation on all regional corridors including neighbouring countries such like DRC, Mozambique. Additional qualification in customs clearing will be an added advantage
• Experience in freight forwarding is a must.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, resourcefulness, initiative, tact and ability to cope with any situation
