JOB DETAILS:

To provide quality water and sanitation services to customers

Job Purpose
Responsible for supporting the Wastewater Treatment Plant by analyzing a variety of samples using different test methods and/or physical tests.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Perform analytical and/or physical sample preparation and testing.
2. Responsible for equipment operation, calibration, cleaning and minor maintenance.
3. Accurately enter all required data into log books, spreadsheets and the reporting system as appropriate.
4. Collection of samples, determining methods by reviewing procedures and tolerances, testing samples.
5. Ensure that the required quality control processes protocols are computed and adhered to.
6. Review data and request additional testing or rechecks as needed.
7. Performs any other duties as delegated by superiors.

Qualifications and Experience
1. Diploma in Laboratory Science
2. Two (2) year’s experience.
3. Driver`s licence will be an added advantage
