Job Description:
• As a Loans Officer at Astro Technology, you will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, managing the loan approval process, and ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulations. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and guide them through the loan application process. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while mitigating risk for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Loan Application Processing: Review and evaluate loan applications submitted by individuals and businesses, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
2. Customer Consultation: Conduct consultations with loan applicants to understand their financial needs, discuss loan options, and provide guidance throughout the application process.
3. Risk Assessment: Analyze applicants’ financial information, credit reports, and collateral to assess creditworthiness and determine loan eligibility.
4. Loan Structuring: Structure loans appropriately, considering the borrower’s financial situation, risk profile, and the organization’s lending policies.
5. Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate loan documentation, ensuring that all required paperwork is complete and in compliance with regulatory standards.
6. Compliance: Stay up-to-date with lending regulations and ensure that all loan processes and documentation adhere to legal and organizational requirements.
7. Loan Approval: Present loan applications to the credit committee or appropriate decision-making body for approval, providing clear recommendations and justifications.
8. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing ongoing support.
9. Collections: Monitor loan repayments and follow up with clients in case of delinquency, implementing appropriate collection strategies.
10. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on loan portfolio performance and key performance indicators.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred).
2. Proven experience 3 years as a Loans Officer, Loan Processor, or a similar role in the financial industry.
3. Strong knowledge of lending practices, regulations, and risk assessment.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Proficiency in using loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong ethics and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
