JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
- Fabricating/welding ancillary equipment such as conveyors and accessories underground
- Carrying out planned maintenance on equipment
- Observing established Safety Regulations and Procedures
- Ensuring tools/equipment used for welding/fabricating are kept in appropriate places after operations
- Compiling checklists/worksheets
- Ensuring availability of equipment underground
- Preventing injury to personnel and safeguarding company property
To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum Craft Certificate in Metal Fabrication from a recognized Institution
- Valid Membership of EIZ/ ERB
- Holder of a valid First Aid Certificate
- All academic qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority
The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and corporate objectives.
