JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The Distribution Sales Representative will fulfill and achieve distribution and sales objectives for key brands in the on-trade channel by successful implementation of sales strategies and plans. Ensure full compliance of sales, price management, promotion and merchandising. Performing various sales and marketing duties that will include executing the full sales cycle, developing and sustaining a broad customer base of retail and wholesale clients thereby expanding the Company’s market share. Take charge of developing and maintaining relations with Corporate Key Accounts .

Summary of Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure distribution objectives for specific SKUs are achieved as per sales plan
• Focus on driving sales in neighborhood bars and pubs
• Ensure a high standard of presence and merchandising for key products in the trade
• Ensure target price levels for both trade and consumers are implemented
• Identify target outlets, negotiate and implement promotional activities at the highest possible standard
• Present feedback and evaluation of results for sales and marketing management’s review
• Recommend appropriate level of credit and duration to trade accounts as per standard policies and procedures.
• Ensure collection through pro-active evaluation and management of receivables in order to achieve collection target as set by sales management
• Develop and maintain amiable win-win relationship with key customers
• Manage and improve performance of assigned trade accounts
• Occasionally arrange schedules on shipping and make delivery of merchandise as well as services

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Business related studies
• Must have a minimum of 3-5 years in the sales and marketing in the FMCG Sector
• Willingness to travel at short notice
• A driver’s license is a must.
• Must be a member of ZIM
