Associate Consultants at Kilimanjaro Consult
Number of Positions: 6 Associate Consultants
Reporting Lines: Lead Consultant
Employment Type: Part-Time/Contract
Kilimanjaro Consult is a Zambian legally registered Consultancy firm which started in 2010 as a small consultancy to provide academic services such as assignments and research to local and international students doing research projects at diploma, degree, masters and PhD level in Zambia and Overseas Colleges and Universities. Over the years, Kilimanjaro Consult has grown to the extent of providing consultancy services such as baseline survey, mid-term evaluations, and end term evaluations of the project to Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).

Additionally, Kilimanjaro Consult has expanded the provision of consultancy services to include development of strategic plans, Annual Work Plans, funding project proposals, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Frameworks, M&E Plans, Project reports and Annual Reports, and M&E capacity building of organisations. Kilimanjaro Consult has been providing these services to foster development through research and planning.
Given the brief background, Kilimanjaro Consult invites qualified individuals to apply for 6 positions of Associate Consultants on Part-Time basis. The Associate Consultants with vast research experience in conducting baseline surveys, mid-term evaluations, end term evaluations of the projects, data analysis and report writing.

The 6 Associate Consultants need to be Specialized in these fields:-
• Health (HIV/AIDS, family planning, and others)
• Public Health
• Demography/Statistics (Data Analysts-strong skills in sampling)
• Gender (gender experts)
• Policy Analysis and publications
• Environment and Natural Resource Management
• Monitoring and Evaluation
• Economics
• Agricultural
• Social Work, Development Studies and other related social sciences

Education Qualifications
• ALL the applicants for Associate Consultants possess a Masters’ Degree in Social Sciences and/or other fields as outlined above. The Associate Consultant(s) with PhD Qualification is an added advantage.
Experience
• Minimum of 8 years of work experience in conducting complex baseline surveys, mid-term evaluations, end term evaluations of the projects/programs, data analysis and report writing.
• Strong knowledge and experience in developing winning technical proposals for consultancy work
• Strong methodological skills in the development and implementation data collection tools, data management, and analysis using SPSS, Excel, Epi Info, STATA and any other Data Analysis software
• Previous experience undertaking complex program evaluations
• Ability to work independently and within tight, evolving timelines
• Knowledge of using mixed methods research
• Excellent written English and report writing skills
