JOB DETAILS:
Role Overview
The Excavator Operator will operate excavators to perform tasks such as digging, loading, and moving materials in the open-pit mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate excavators safely and efficiently to perform assigned tasks.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Perform digging and material loading in compliance with operational standards.
• Monitor the performance of the equipment during operations and report any issues.
• Follow safety protocols to avoid accidents and maintain workplace safety.
• Work collaboratively with other operators and supervisors to achieve daily production targets.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Grade 9/12 certificate.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience operating excavators in open-pit mining.
• Valid Silicosis certificate.
• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.

Experience in Months: 48

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
