JOB DETAILS:
The Mission of the Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited (LWSC) is to provide climate resilient quality water supply and sanitation services. In order to achieve this, the Company endeavours to have a pool of talent with appropriate qualifications, experience, skills, attitudes and abilities. LWSC now seeks to recruit dynamic, result-oriented and energetic person to fill the following advertised vacant positions on a permanent and pensionable basis.

POSITION 3 : Plant Operators (G8) x (8)

REPORTS TO : Superintendent Water Supply

Job Purpose
The Plant Operator will be reporting to the Superintendent and will be responsible for Operating plant equipment /machinery as per laid down Standard Operating Procedures and ensure high standards of the work environment.

Qualifications and Experience
i. School Certificate or General Certificate in Education
ii. Craft Certificate in Water Supply Operations
iii. One (1) year relevant work experience

• Ability to work effectively with co-workers
• Ability to work under pressure
