We are looking for a vibrant and experienced person to fill the following position:
Accountant (1 Postion) – Lusaka At Head Office
Core responsibilities
• Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accounting records and preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
• To meet light deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and support to budget and forecast activities

Major duties
• Preparation of Budgets
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare statutory returns
• Prepare periodic cash flows and monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Conduct periodic Fixed Assets verification 6. Any other duties that may be assigned to you

Qualifications
• A Degree in Accountancy and/or ACCA, CIMA qualification
• Member of ZICA
• Other financial management qualification will be an added advantage
• The applicant should have at least 5 years’ experience in a busy accounting office
• 3 years’ work experience with Pastel Accounting software
• Experience in the Insurance industry will be an added advantage

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
