JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: Accountant
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Skill Requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical skills
• Complex problem solving
• Knowledge of fundamentals of Accounts
• Computer literate with proficiency in Pastel Accounting suite of applications

Qualifications
• Full grade 12 certificate
• Must have ACCA, A Diploma or better in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field
• Must have experience using Microsoft Office Suite of applications especially Microsoft Excel
• Must be a member of ZICA

Responsibilities
• Daily / Weekly / Monthly Bank Reporting
• Supplier / Client Invoicing
• Booking Supplier Payments / Client receipts / Bank payments (Banking Platform and Accounting system)
• Return Submission / Payments – NAPSA, ZRA VAT, ZRA WHT and ZRA PAYE
• Monthly Closing;
• Asset Depreciation
• Supplier recons and Allocations
• Inter-company transaction processing and Balances reporting
• Examining bank statements and reconciling them
• Examining expenses submitted by employees
• Keeping an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable
• Creating company financial reports with the above information included
• Analysing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health
• Analysing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue
• Examining the proficiency of the software programs used to organise data
• Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow
