In order to effectively accomplish its business objectives, KTRN Ltd is looking for a qualified and competent candidate to fill the vacant position below:
Position: Applications Administrator
Job Summary
Responsible for IT applications support and participation in design, analysis and development of new applications that fully implement business requirements..
Key Responsibilities
• Respond to Staffs and Business Team inquiries in regard to IT applications
• Design and implement new features for different application systems
• Monitor applications systems and platforms for availability
• Perform adequate unit and integration testing of in-house vendor’s software
• Provide innovative solutions to business issues or challenges by means of automation of routine tasks across different systems (Backups, Data Purge, Index rebuild/reorganize...)
• Enhancing existing applications to improve efficiency.
• Ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
• Test, install and customize new software applications, patches and updates
• Refine the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model and the physical design to meet system storage requirements
• Identify functional and technical requirements on the basis of interactions with the user community and knowledge of enterprise architecture.
• Trace, understand and debug third party source code
• Perform any other duties as may be directed by the Supervisor.

Qualification and experience required.
• Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in Applications support / software development or Database Administration from a reputable organization (telecom sector preferred)
• Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular general purpose programming languages such C/C++, Java, C# and scripting languages such as PHP, Python, Unix/Linux bash and familiar with Relational DBMS (Oracle, MSSQL,…)
• Ability to create, understand and communicate complex application architecture.
• Ability to be a team player and approved integrity
• In-depth knowledge of PL SQL scripting.
