JOB DETAILS:
Promasidor Limited is part of a Multinational Group of Companies based in Ndola and is in the business of marketing selling and distribution of food products. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to be part of a dynamic team to fill the position of Assistant Accountant.The holder of the position will report to the Principle Accountant and will be based in Ndola. .

Primary Responsibilities:
• Record and update daily transactions
• Checkand verify that all data input is complete and accurate
• Reconcile Physical Stock Count balances to Inventory Subledgers
• Track and reconcile bank statements entries to cashbook accounts
• Prepare and Reconcile Debtors and Creditors reports
• Reconciliation of any other key ledger accounts
• Prepare and Submit monthly Tax returns
• Process tax and other statutory payments on the online portals
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principle Accountant

Required Skills
• Proficiency in Pastel Accounting Package
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and ability to prioritize work
• Must be a team player and demonstrate ability to maintain financial records
• Excellent communications, writing and analytical skills
• Must possess high levels of integrity, accountability and honesty

Minimum Job Qualifications
• Three or more years of relevant work experience
• Member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
• Must be pursuing final stages of ZICA/CA, ACCA, or Equivalent
• Full Grade Twelve Certificates with credits or better
