About the Role.
• The Assistant Communications Coordinator assumes a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s communication strategy and executing programs to attain communication objectives. They will provide training and remote support to colleagues at Restless Development, enhancing their competencies in design and digital marketing. Additionally, this role involves overseeing all national public events, strategizing content, creating copy for organisational publications, executing diverse campaigns (including driving corporate strategy, message development, pitching, announcement strategies, awareness campaigns, and Youth collective signups), and ensuring consistent updates across the website and social media platforms. Monitoring and maintaining the quality and frequency of communications in our online presence is also within their scope.

About You.
Essential, desirable skills and experience
• Graduate level degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years work experience in communications or relevant areas.
• Proven experience of coordinating communication projects from design to completion including evaluating impact.
• Experience of developing and implementing communication plans including advocacy, media and programmes.
• Excellent writing,editing,designing and photography skills.
• Ability to read, synthesise information to produce clear, well written summaries.
• Experience in video editing and design-in adobe software and Canvas: infographics.
• Personnel commitment to Restless Development vision and values.

Educational Background
• Minimum: Graduate level degree or equivalent work experience
