Assistant Teacher - Physical Education
Educore Services is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic candidate for the mole of Assistant Teacher - Physical Education. This role is based at Sentinel Kabitaka Solwezi. The appointee will report to the Head of Department for Physical Education and directly contribute to all area of teaching and support designated classes
Sentinel Kabitaka is part of the exciting and ambitious educational establishments in the North-West Province of Zambia, catering for children from Nursery up to O Level The school delivers the Zambian National Curriculum to Year and Cambridge Curriculum to IGCSE. The school, which is a part of the Educore Services group of schools, offers a comprehensive educational export and aims to be especially strong in not only academic achievement, but sport, outdoor pursuits and the performing arts
Main Purpose of the Job
To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students. To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
Commencement date: not later than 1st January 2022
Qualifications Required
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Teaching Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in an advantage
• Registration with the Teaching Council of Zambia TCZ)
• Experience in teaching towards the Cambridge Assessment International Education curriculum (or similar) is an advantage
• Have a secure knowledge and understanding of the subject area curriculum and related pedagogy

• The ability to adapt schemes of loaming to suit the needs of students and groups of students
• Enthusiasm drive and a love for the job
• Ability to teach Physical Education to KS3, 4 and 5
• Clear vision and an innovative approach for learning & teaching
• A commitment to developing out of school hours activities to enhance progress, enrichment, enjoyment and attainment in your subject.
