WEAC is implementing a Biodiversity Finance Acceleration Project in partnership with adelphi, a leading independent think tank on climate, environment and development based in Germany. The Biodiversity Finance Accelerator Southern Africa (2021-2024) is funded by the International Climate Initiative (ICI) on behalf of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and aims to mobilize biodiversity investments and to scale biodiversity-friendly entrepreneurship, thus contributing to a sustainable use, conservation and restoration of ecosystems.
