We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Science (Biology & Chemistry) Teacher to join our team. If you are an inspiring educator with a deep knowledge of natural sciences and a commitment to student success, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in Sciences, including Biology, Chemistry and environmental science.
- Facilitate hands-on learning experiences through experiments, lab activities, and fieldwork.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
- Foster critical thinking, curiosity, and a love for science in students.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during laboratory sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and enhance the curriculum.
- Stay updated with advancements in science education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education with Biology & Chemistry or a related field.
- A valid Teaching certification or license.
Skills:
- Strong subject knowledge and a deep understanding of the secondary curriculum.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and innovative teaching tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent lesson planning and classroom management skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
