JOB DETAILS:
Ilondola Meat Market located in Lusaka, is looking to find a suitable person to fill the role of a Blockman/Butcher. .
The Blockman/Butcher will:
• Cut meat products according to standard cuts and joints for beef, lamb, goat and pork.
• Manage Sausage production – Hungarians, Russions, and Boerwors
• Assist with stock takes, receiving of stock.
• Ensure correct weighing and pricing
• Check sell by and expiry dates for all products
• Ensure minimum waste, correct portion control and packaging
• Ensure personal hygiene and follow health and safety procedures
• MaintainCompany standards and merchandise.

Requirements for this Position
• Grade 12/ Senior Certificate or equivalent qualifications
• Previous meat processing experience in a meat market/butchery environment with traceable references
• 2 – 5 years of retail experience
• Machinery Competent
• A drivers license will be an added advantage
