JOB DETAILS:
We are recruiting an experienced Bookkeeper for immediate start.
Responsibilities: Records numerical and financial data to produce financial records. Ensure financial data is entered correctly and accurately. Enters journal entries to debit and credit the company’s accounts. Generates accounting and audit reports for cash receipts, accounts payable and receivable, expenditures, and profits and losses. Reconciles and reports differences or issues found in financial records. Performs other related duties as assigned. .
Job Description
• Posting all accounting documents to accounting system – sales invoices, bank receipts, bank payments, petty cash payments
• Preparing wages, PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA schedules
• Preparing and submitting monthly ZRA returns
• Posting Payroll Journals
• Filling of documents
• Recording Deposits Slips and Payment vouchers
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner – bank reconciliations, debtors reconciliations, suppliers reconciliations, petty cash reconciliations
• Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
• Recording bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
• Providing accounting and clerical and practical assistance to the team
• Providing monthly management account
• Providing year end file to external accountant

Qualifications
• Experience in basic accounting packages
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Hours working flexible hours to suit the business and will including Saturday until 16 hrs and a day and a day off during the week
• Required Skills 3 Years of Experience as a bookkeeper.
