1. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Investcorp Zambia Limited has a career opportunity available for a Business Development Manager (BDM) who will set sights on growing and developing our footprint in Zambia. .

Responsibilities:
• Building sustainable relationships;
• Drive business and financial growth;
• Effective pipeline watch and identifying promising opportunities;
• Achieve targets through well-balanced growth strategies;
• Proactively be current with market dynamics;
• Design and lead winning presentations;
• Ensure efficient coordination with internal departments and relevant stakeholders;
• Participate in management meetings;
• Undertake duties incidental to this position and/or as directed.

Requirements;
• Bachelor’s in Commerce, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or any relevant business qualification. Diploma holders with extensive experience are welcome to apply;
• 3-5 years’ experience;
• A Zambian citizen with clean Drivers’ License.

Competencies:
You must demonstrate abilities for problem-solving, project management, analytical skills, effective presentation & facilitation skills, strong virtual meeting skills using digital platforms, good command in English (written and oral), networking and strong negotiation skills, ability to engage and lead discussions at management level, ability to work independently and within a team to deliver results, good judgement to lead and influence without formal authority, capability to adapt and perform under changing and uncertain conditions and able to undertake extensive travels.
