JOB DETAILS:
Job Description:
• We are looking for an experienced business development manager. You will lead business development activities for a new carbon developer in close collaboration with the Zambian CEO, including setting up the procedures, support the development and tracking of strategic initiatives and spearhead reporting efforts.

Key Job Responsibilities:
• Lead the setup of monitoring and tracking procedures for strategic initiatives.
• Lead the monitoring of operational performance indicators across all projects in Zambia.
• Lead the analysis of operational and other business performance indicators, including formulating strategic suggestions for the operating business.
• Support implementation of strategic initiatives under the leadership of the local CEO.
• Support for all stakeholder engagements including investors, clients and government.

Desired Candidate Profile:
• Master’s degree in finance, economy, and/or project management-related field.
• Strong analytical capabilities as well as a proven execution track record in a company setting.
• 5 years of experience in business development, consulting, or similar roles.
• Strong passion for conservation and/or rural development.
• Expertise in all Microsoft Office programs is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication across a wide range of audiences.
• Should be open to travel.
