JOB DETAILS:
• Kapasa Makasa University is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates who are highly motivated and passionate about making a mark in the education sector to fill the position of Business Information Systems lecturer on a full-time contract in the ICT department. The candidate should possess the following qualifications:
• Grade 12 Certificate with Five (5) credits or better including English and Mathematics
• Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or any related field.
• Must hold a Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, Finance or any field related to the mentioned.
• Must have at least two (2) years of teaching experience in a tertiary institution, and have scholarly experience
• Must belong to a professional body related to the field of expertise and be an active member
• Being a holder of an earned PhD in Accounting, Business, Finance or any field related to the mentioned ones will be an added advantage
• Holding a teaching methodology qualification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities
• To participate in offering accounting, business, finance, and management courses to students pursuing undergraduate bachelor’s degrees in their respective fields.
• Mentor students applying academic knowledge to solve real-life problems as they work their way through their undergraduate programs.
• To work with the institution as well as outside professionals in discussing opportunities for coordination research and development.
• To review, revise and improve curricula used by the department

• Machine learning science
• Mathematics related concepts
• Should have programming skills in any combination of C#, C++, Java, Python, Web development tools, or any contemporary languages.
