JOB DETAILS:
Expanded Church Response (ECR) is a faith-based organization implementing OVC, GBV, HIV/AIDS, and other programs to mitigate human suffering and bring transformational development.
ECR has implemented programs funded by USAID, European Union, UNICEF, and Global Fund either directly or through a range of highly regarded local and international organizations. Working with partners like these, the private sector, and government, we are seeing communities awakened to new ways to improve quality of life for the most vulnerable and rise up to be the key to their own transformation.
ECR is seeking qualified, highly motivated and innovative candidates with a passion for the vulnerable and awakening potential in others, to fill in the following positions below for a USAID project -ZAMBIA FAMILY (ZAMFAM)
Capacity Development Officer (CDO) -Lusaka
The CDO will principal the project’s in-house capacity building and quality improvements efforts. CDO also will oversee the technical and organizational capacity development of the prime organization and the sub-partners. The CDO’S responsibility is to tailor capacity building plans that may include human resources management, financial management, reporting, resource mobilization, sub-grant management, governance, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation. .

Job Qualifications:
• A Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field;
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in capacity building;
• Experience in assessing technical capacity of organizations, developing customized; and
• Capacity building plans, and providing individualized training, mentoring and on-site support in various technical areas of need.

Job Education Requirements:
• A Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field;;

Job Experience Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in capacity building;
