JOB DETAILS:

Reporting Line: Food Truck Manager
Location: Lusaka

Job Purpose:
To operate a mobile food caravan in Lusaka Province serving freshly prepared takeaway food.

Job Responsibilities:
• Make Menu
• Take orders from customers and provide them with accurate information about menu items
• Food preparation
• Handle cash and process payments from customers
• Maintain inventory of food items in the food truck and re-stock inventory
• Maintain a clean work environment, including cleaning the food truck and equipment
• Marketing, sales and brand promotions of products

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Excellent marketing and customer service skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work nights and weekends
• Able to follow instructions and take direction well
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
• Organization and multitasking skills:
• Food safety knowledge
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
• Previous experience working in a restaurant
• Previous experience working in customer service
• Cash handling experience
• Food preparation experience
• Traceable references
• Certificate in Hospitality, Food Production, Catering, Food Science or any other relevant field will be an added advantage.
