Our Client, a reputable Quasi-Government Institution would like to recruit Zambian Executive Directors to spearhead the growth and development of the Company
Chief Commercial Officer
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Purpose
To formulate and implement customer-centric commercial strategies, including customizing and implementing new products, packaging, pricing models, cross-functional communications, managing overall customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth for both new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Delivers strategic leadership for defining the commercial path to growth and profitability of the company and the establishment of an effective growth process and infrastructure
• Leads the development of the company's marketing strategy with an emphasis on achieving market penetration and sales growth with a particular emphasis on cost-effective customer acquisition and market demand generation
• Manages and oversees Revenue generation, customer acquisition & Customer Market Share.
• Guides the business in the achievement of the planned revenue and customer value in the targeted market segments
• Develops and implements the Company's sales strategy across key market segments to ensure that the Company identifies and optimizes a clear path to aggressive growth
• Assesses, builds and manages an array of necessary channels capable of delivering on the Company's growth objectives, Including, for example: Retail sales Direct sales, Enterprise sales, Digital & Mobile money. Indirect sales channel (Retailers & Distributors)
• Develops a commercial business plan
• Conceptualizes and develops marketing channels which are customer oriented and relationship driven
• Leads sales channels to meet and exceed revenue targets
• Develops and grows the digital and mobile sales channel as new revenue streams for the business
• Originates and manages business development opportunities that are consistent with the Company's strategy for revenue growth
• Maintains high penetration of all Company's products/services through effective channel management
• Efficiently optimize utilization of the commercial budgets. Keep Net Acquisition costs and other commercial related cost under control to ensure that EBITDA margins across regions are sustained
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 certificate with credits in English and Mathematics and any other three subjects
• Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline.
• MBA an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years related post qualification experience. 5 of which should be in a Managerial Role in Telecom or related industries
• Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
