Description
Bella Flowers Ltd is a private company operating in Rwanda involved in the production of cut roses supplied to local and international markets. Established as a strategic investment to boost the floriculture industry, Bella flowers Rwanda mission is to grow into a pioneer of excellence in the production of high-quality roses for export to international markets.
Developed on 35Ha of land in Gishali, Rwamagana district, Eastern Province, the farm is situated at an altitude of 1500M above sea level, about 65 km from Kigali International airport via the main Kigali-Rwamagana road (approximately one-hour drive) and 9 Km from the main road, accessible via a good road.
Our professional and dedicated team have established a modern and efficient crop management system and quality controls both in the field and the processing to ensure client satisfaction. Exports to international markets kicked off in September 2016 to Holland and still expanding to other markets across the world. Bella flowers strive to provide its esteemed customers high-quality roses with a guaranteed fulfillment of specific requirements.
We are seeking to recruit a competent candidate to fill the position of a Human Resource Manager whose purpose is to ensure the day-to-day running of the Human Resource and Administration department. The following are the key competencies, experience, and skills required for this position.
Chief Executive Officer Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/ Business Administration or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or MBA.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Senior Management position.
  • Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting.
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships amongst executives, partners, and the general workforce.
  • Understanding of human resources and personnel management.
  • Experience with corporate governance.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions.
  • Ability to inspire confidence and create trust within the company.
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate.

  • Provide inspired leadership company-wide.
  • Make high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
  • Report to the board of directors and keep them informed.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and a strategic plan.
  • Act as the primary spokesperson for the company.
  • Develop the company’s culture and overall company vision.
  • Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary.
  • Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.
  • Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  • Work with senior stakeholders, the Board of Directors, the chief financial officer, and other executives.
  • Work with the executive board to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the company.
  • Work closely with the human resource department to ensure strategic hiring.
  • Takes the lead across all aspects of the company by reviewing how departments work together to reach company goals and by coming up with fresh ideas that will set the company apart from competitors.
  • Determines the direction of a business by working with upper management and leading team members to create and implement strategies and goals.
  • Builds a positive and productive culture in the workplace by listening to employee opinions, making adjustments, and recognizing the team's accomplishments.
  • Communicate a vision for the company and take steps to make it a reality.
  • Consult with investors and outside entities to decide which direction the company should go.
  • Keep up with current trends in the industry and modern business practices by reading periodicals and consulting with peers.
  • Performs other decisions as necessary, such as reviewing reports, making presentations to investors and the Board of Directors, and examining how the company can cut expenses and increase revenue.
