JOB DETAILS:
Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Zambia (NCMZ) and its US affiliate, Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Inc, invite qualified candidates to apply to the following position in a forthcoming USAID-funded project to improve the delivery of services to vulnerable children and adolescents in Zambia.

Job Responsibilities:
• He/she will lead and manage project activities and staff (including sub-grantee staff assigned to the project).
• He/she will have primary responsibility for representation of the project to PEPFAR, USAID, Government of Zambia (GRZ) and project stakeholders.
• He/she will be responsible for the timely, accurate and complete submission of all project deliverables required by PEPFAR/USAID.

Job Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Public Health, Social Welfare, Institutional or Organizational Development, International Management, Public Administration or related field. (higher academic degrees are preferred but not required).
• At least 5 years of experience as a senior leader or manager with HIV programs in Eastern and/or Southern Africa at a senior level of similar scope and size (i.e. $2 million per year). Experience with PEPFAR-funded programs, e.g. CDC, DoD, USAID, will be preferred but not required.
• Technical expertise in policy and programs serving: (a) adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) at high risk of HIV acquisition and (b) orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) with focus on those living with and exposed to HIV.
• Familiarity with national HIV, OVC, AGYW and youth policies;
• Demonstrated ability to engage government and other stakeholders (private sector, local and international NGOs, bilateral and multilateral development agencies) for OVC and AGYW priorities and issues
