JOB DETAILS:
Bert Eagle Consortium, a leading contractor on the Chingola-Mutanda-Solwezi Dual Carriageway Project, is excited to invite applications from qualified and experienced professionals to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Civil Engineer at Bert Eagle Consortium, you will:
• Oversee the design and construction of the Chingola-Mutanda-Solwezi dual carriageway.
• Ensure compliance with all road construction standards, specifications, and regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion.
• Supervise and manage on-site engineering teams and subcontractors.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical advice to resolve challenges on-site and ensure quality assurance.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to achieve project objectives effectively.
Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in road construction, particularly asphalt roads and general civil engineering works.
• Professional Membership: Must be a paid-up member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of road construction standards, specifications, and quality control practices.
• Soft Skills:
o Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
o Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills.
