JOB DETAILS:
Prime Insurance Limited is an insurance company, established in 1995 by Rwandan investors, a licensed general and life insurance company authorized by the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR).
The Company is seeking to recruit highly skilled, self- motivated and experienced persons to fill the following posts:
Claims Officer
Under the supervision of the Claims Manager, the Claims Officer ensures effective and efficient management of claims and compliance with company policies and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Checks documents or papers for compliance and correctness;
• Make sure that claims are handled efficiently and that payment for valid claims is made to policyholders ;
• Making decisions to the extent and validity of a claim, and checking for any potential fraudulent activity;
• Conduct arbitration and mediation services;
• Ensure that in his/her activities, he/she follow and respect all claims procedures;
• Prepare weekly and monthly report as he/she will be required;
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

JOB SPECIFICATION
Qualification

• Bachelor Degree in Law or Insurance
• General Insurance qualification certificate is an added value
• Five (5) consecutive years working experience as claims officer of Insurance company
• Being Rwandan by nationality
• Age maximum 35 years
  Skills:
• Computer skills
• Ability to follow specified Procedure
• Ability to Communicate and Negotiation skills
• Ability to work under Pressure
• Proficiency in record keeping and Data analysis
