Job Summary:
As a Clinical assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the education and training of future nurses. You will work closely with nursing faculty, students, and healthcare facilities to ensure a seamless clinical experience. This role involves assisting in the coordination and organization of clinical rotations, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and providing administrative support to the nursing program.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Rotation Coordination:
• Assist in the scheduling and placement of nursing students for clinical rotations.
• Collaborate with healthcare facilities to secure clinical sites and preceptors.
• Ensure students receive orientation and necessary information for each clinical rotation.
2. Compliance and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of clinical assignments, evaluations, and student attendance.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards for clinical education.
• Assist in the preparation of reports related to clinical program outcomes.
3. Student Support:
• Provide guidance and support to nursing students regarding clinical requirements and expectations.
• Address student inquiries and concerns related to clinical experiences.
• Collaborate with faculty to assess and address student performance in clinical settings.
4. Administrative Duties:
• Assist in the organization of clinical paperwork, including consent forms and health records.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics for clinical rotations, if necessary.
• Help in the preparation of clinical materials, equipment, and supplies.
5. Communication and Collaboration:
• Maintain open and effective communication with clinical preceptors, faculty, and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Coordinator and nursing faculty to improve the clinical program.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Previous experience in healthcare or education administration is a plus.
• Knowledge of nursing education and clinical placement processes
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
