Overview
Lukanga Water Supply & Sanitation Company Limited (LgWSC) is a private Company established under the Companies Act CAP 388 of the Laws of Zambia. It was incorporated on 21 March 2006 as a Commercial Water Utility (CU) Limited by shares wholly owned by the Local Authorities in Central Province. The CU was established as part of the GRZ water subsector reforms to improve delivery of water supply, sewerage and sanitation services to the urban and peri-urban population in the Province.
In order to fulfill this mandate, the Company has placed emphasis on delivering an excellent service to both its external and internal customers. The Company seeks individuals who are ready to join the crusade towards effective and efficient delivery of services to our esteemed customers.
Applications are therefore, invited from suitably qualified persons with demonstrable performance record to fill the following vacancies. LgWSC is an equal opportunity employer.
Company Secretary (Grade L2; Required No:1)
Reporting to : Managing Director

Job purpose
Carries out all Company secretarial duties on behalf of the Board of Directors and management, attend to litigation and mediation on behalf of the company, to draft and scrutinize contractual agreements and offers legal advisory services to Management on all legal matters.
Requirements
• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Minimum professional qualifications: Bachelor of Laws or equivalent
• Current practicing Certificate/License
• Relevant work experience with five (5) years post qualifying experience at the Bar
• Must be an effective communicator with good writing and reporting skills
• Computer literate
