JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
• Professionally responsible for planning, overseeing, and managing meeting spaces for the hotel. Creating and managing the conference schedule. Work in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure a smooth transition of customer service between Sales and Marketing for booked events and be the liaison between conference facilitators and all departments of the hotel for a splendid conference customer experience.
Attributes
· Proven events management experience
· Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, POS, PMS)
· Organization, creative problem solving and attention to detail
· Communication and leadership skills
· Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
· Guest-oriented and service-minded
Qualifications
• Diploma in General Hospitality a plus
• Certificate in Events Management may be considered
