The Company Seeks the Services of a Continuous Improvement Coach x 1

Job Purpose
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
• Establish comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Risk Management processes to support mine redevelopment and ensure operational readiness.
• Implement robust contractor and stakeholder engagement practices for effective collaboration and alignment with mine production goals.
• Develop a structured rolling quarterly plan (4-3-2-1) for budgeting and setting Mine Production priorities, milestones, and key events.
• Prepare, review, and submit the annual cost center budget, ensuring alignment with Mine Production targets and approved outputs. Manage production activities to meet targets within set budgets, timeframes, costs, and KPIs, ensuring accountability and performance tracking.
• Drive a strong safety culture within the team, leading by example in Safety, Health, and Sustainable Development practices.
• Integrate environmental management strategies into Mine Production planning and implementation, aligning with sustainable mining practices.
• Champion continuous improvement and drive accountability through structured, actionable strategies within the Mining department.
• Establish and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders to enhance cooperation and support for production initiatives.
• Oversee the development and capacity-building of the Mine Production team, providing resources and expertise to meet annual and quarterly goals.
• Coordinate with institutional partners and consultants to foster collaboration, share best practices, and promote organizational development.
• Develop and execute a communication strategy to ensure transparent and timely dissemination of project information to the team and management.
• Facilitate team-building and communication initiatives to create a cohesive, well-integrated project team structure.
• Align cross-departmental activities and resources with project goals, leveraging project management tools for tracking and delivery.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Diploma in Mining Engineering.
• Degree in Mining will be an added advantage.
• All academic qualifications should be verified and certified by Zambia Qualifications Authority.
• Valid Blasting license for all mining operations.
• Valid first aid certificate.
• Should have comprehensive knowledge in the Mine Regulations.

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
