Job description:
To be responsible for managing the entry and exit of employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles to ensure the safety and security of mine operations. This role requires strict adherence to access control policies, the ability to ensuring that only authorized personnel are able to access restricted areas or confidential information from the security system, monitor security systems, and active coordination with the security team to prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assign access rights based on established protocol company policies.
• Monitor and manage the access of personnel, visitors, and vehicles to restricted areas within the facility.
• Processes requests for card access and modifications; monitors, tracks, and evaluates card access activity system wide
• Printing and encoding of employees, Contractors and Visitors IDS
• Verify identification and credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Verifying gate passes and filling
• Maintain visitor logs, issue visitor badges, and ensure all guests are escorted when necessary.
• Report any security breaches, suspicious activities, or unauthorized access attempts.
• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting access control systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
• Work closely with security guards and other personnel to ensure smooth access control and security operations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent in information Technology or related field; additional training or certifications in security or access control is a plus.
• Two (2) years’ work experience in a similar role.
• Training in Microsoft application suit is required (Excel, word, PowerPoint)
• Previous experience in security or access control roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to use surveillance and access control software and technology.
• Good communication skills and professionalism.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations.
