JOB DETAILS:

UDL is a private real estate development company leading the way in changing the landscape of Rwanda through its residential and commercial development projects. Ultimate Developers Ltd. would like to recruit a custodian who will work under the overall supervision of the Technical Director.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Purpose: The position holder is principally responsible for provision of equipment and logistics support to UDL Site Office and for ensuring the smooth running of the Office maintenance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure the effective administration and maintenance of a system of control and accountability for personal property assigned to his/her accountability area;
   
2. Ensure that he/she has current records for assigned accountable property;
   
3. Ensure that he/she maintains current hand receipts;
   
4. Ensure the prompt transfer of his/her appointments, including conducting a physical inventory and the preparation of a new Property Custodian Certification;
   
5. Ensure that physical inventories are completed, records are reconciled, and discrepancies are investigated and resolved;
   
6. Review requests for final when lost, damaged, or destroyed personal property is reported to determine whether adequate controls and precautions were exercised;
   
7. Ensure that property is fully utilized, safeguarded from misuse or theft, and that unneeded personal property is promptly reported for reutilization, redistribution, or disposal;
   
8. Ensure the availability of all source documentation for personal property under their span of control;
   
9. Ensure that property identification number (bar code) labels are affixed to the accountable personal property within their span of control;
   
10. Provide timely responses to the Technical Director regarding required information for the monthly utilized resources.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Logistics with 3 years of experience in the similar field, area or relevant work in the area of administration or procurement.
  
• Knowledge of working processes (purchase orders, preparation of contracts for services and goods, tendering, protocol etc);
  
• Proven knowledge to have worked in real estate company is an added advantage;
  
• Good communication skills;
  
• Capable of working under pressure in a multitasking position;
  
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
  
• Good experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word,
