JOB DETAILS:
Madison Finance Company Limited, one of the leading Non-Bank Financial Institutions accredited by the Bank of Zambia (BOZ) seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and professionally experienced candidate for the position of CYBER SECURITY SPECIALIST.

Key Responsibilities
The role is responsible for but not limited to the following:
• The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for safeguarding the organization’s information assets and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of its systems and data.
• Developing and implementing information security policies and procedures.
• Conducting ICT risk assessments.
• Managing security incidents.
• Monitoring and auditing the company’s information systems.
• Implementing technical security measures.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
• Providing security awareness and training to staff members.
• Develop expertise to remain updated on new technologies and trends.
• Ensuring technological regulatory compliance.
• Incident response planning and running of BCP drills.
• Security risk management.
• Follow change management and security best practices.
• Generate relevant reports at regular agreed-upon intervals.
• Document the steps taken to resolve security incidents.
• Suggest technology solutions to improve the company’s overall technology security posture.
• Conducts interviews, reviews documents and performs operational, financial and compliance audits of business operations.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
• Full grade twelve certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Management Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or any related field
• CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, Master’s Degree or any equivalent certification is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices and technologies is essential.
• Proficient written and verbal communication
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
